Online Casino Heeds the Haiti Call for Aid and Donates $9000 for Haiti Relief

Crazy Vegas Casino has made a donation of $9000 to aid emergency relief for Haiti, after disaster literally shook their world. Casinomeister set up a relief fund for Haiti, and extended the request to all Online Casino Operators to make a donation to assist relief efforts to this agonized nation. They have asked Operators to donate a minimum of $10, or whatever they could contribute.

Crazy Vegas Casino, a member of Casinomeister, heard the cry for help and has extended its hand by donating $9000! We, at Crazy Vegas Casino, are urging all other Casino operators to heed the call and offer what they can. All the donations are going to Oxfam.org to assist Haiti. The great thing about this project is that Calvin Ayre has stated that he will match the donations made to Oxfam.org up to a total donation of $1 million.

Tragedy struck on January 12 of 2010, when an earthquake with a 7.0 magnitude struck Haiti. It has been reportedly the worst earthquake yet. Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere, and in the aftermath of the earthquake that shook them to the core, Haitians have been left devastated with rising mortality counts and damages they cannot afford to repair. Many have been left homeless and wounded. These people, though, count their blessings, as many others have become nameless fatalities in the wake of this disaster. The number of casualties and damages in Port-au-Prince and other surrounding areas is devastating, with the statistics increasing daily.

Before this horrifying disaster, Haitians were already struggling with all major and many minor facilities. Now, they are left without food, water or medical assistance and they are surrounded by death and debris.

Haitians really need all the aid and support that they can get right now. The sooner relief and emergency aid reaches them, the sooner their lives can take on a semblance of normality.
